It was early in my time living on South Beach, I woke up early one Sunday. The thought hit me that I hadn’t done anything in downtown Miami, I don’t think I had been there at all. Excited at the prospects, I gathered my gear and headed over the bay to downtown.
My first impression was kind of shocked. Beyond the row of beautiful highrises looms a city with a whole lot more dilapidation than I would expect.
After walking numerous blocks I happened by Gesu Church and BAM! Not bad for a first walkabout.
